Edition 2 - 2023 - Lancashire

Evening Visit

Keeping the job ticking on during the dark winter nights, an evening visit was organised to Yew Tree Dairy at the end of February. It was great to see a big turnout from members and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. A big thanks to Carl Woodcock and his team for the hospitality and giving us an insight into his business, how it has developed to where it is today and what he feels might be in store for the future of us as milk producers.

Club AGM

On Monday 20th March 2023 the Annual General Meeting was held. Great thanks were paid to those leaving the committee for all the work they have done, with the officers for the forthcoming year being:

Premier Herd Open Day

Finally, we congratulate Mr GB Moorhouse and family of the Aireburn Herd for winning the prestigious Premier Herd Competition in 2022. A great achievement and very much deserved. We don't intend to organise a summer one day tour this year, however, encourage all to support the open day at Hesper Farm on the 1st August 2023 to see an awesome herd of cows.
