BCBC are pleased to announce the full programme for the BCBC conference is now available, and bookings are now being taken. 

The theme of the conference is 'Green Genes' Revolutionising Cattle Breeding For A Sustainable Future'.  The 2024 conference will tackle the argument for reduction head on and propose that a more sustainable answer is to adapt our cattle and our practices to reduce emissions and improve both sequestration and biodiversity on our farms, whilst maintaining profitable businesses and thriving rural communities.

The 2024 conference will be held at Telford Hotel and Golf Resort, Shropshire, from Monday 22nd to Wednesday 24th January 2024.

Speakers include Professor John Gilliland, farmer and special adviser for AHDB, Beef farmer Duncan Morrison, Professor Elizabeth Magowan, from the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI), Professor Alice Stanton, clinician-scientist and Bjørg Heringstad, a research scientist at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and Geno Breeding.
