Staffordshire
The Staffs Club was formed in 1943 as the Staffordshire British Friesian Club, around 1980 there was a breakaway group which formed the Staffordshire & Derbyshire Holstein Club. As the Holstein influence increased it became obvious the two clubs should amalgamate, this happened in 1999. The Derbyshire section staying with Derby Club and likewise Staffs section with what is now called The Staffordshire Holstein Breeders Club, incorporating the British Friesians. The various Trophies were also shared out at this time.
The club is getting smaller, but we have a strong nucleus of active members, particularly in HYB supported by the senior club.
Staffordshire May Club News - Winter Classic
The Winter Classic ran in January as planned, with 12 entries and some new entrants this year, which was very encouraging.
