We were privileged to have Mick Gould and his wife attend an evening meeting to give us a talk about the past, present and what the future has in store at Woodmarsh. In front of a good attendance Mick shared his experiences and honest thoughts with it being clear that he has achieved great things through sheer hard work, dedication and a common-sense approach to all that he does. Thanks Mick!

Coming up on 23rd March the Lancashire Club Dinner Dance is to be held at The Gibbon Bridge Hotel, Chipping. It will be a top night with Disco Jackers providing entertainment for the evening yet again. Stay tuned for Club newsletters, Facebook and WhatsApp posts for further details.

The Annual Spring Tour is booked for the 21st - 24th April where members will be making the trip to Ayr, Scotland. This promises to be an excellent trip to an outstanding area that boasts many world class farmers and breeders.

As the nights draw out, the Young Judges competition will be upon us. This year we have two excellent venues:

7th June, Bilsrow Holsteins, Tomlinsons, Bilsborrow Hall Farm, Bilsborrow.

14th June, Liscabank Holsteins, AB & J Parkinsons & Sons, Liscoe Farm, Out Rawcliffe

We hope to see many there, all are welcome and for any more info please get in touch with our HYB coordinators, Hannah Booth and Richard Lawrence.

Finally, the club is proud to have one of the prime ambassadors for Lancashire Holsteins, Mr Aubrey Greenhalgh be awarded the Holstein UK Lifetime Achievement Award.  He joins a long list of UK breed legends who individually have excelled in over 20 years of service to the Holstein cow. Well done Aubrey, fully deserved!!
