Points are awarded with 10 being the highest and 3 being the lowest. The Stockjudging is awarded 1st downwards, whilst the Showmanship works similar but is awarded per Showmanship age classes. The club are proud to announce that Miss Grace Lawrie, Grangehall Holsteins, Pettinain took the top honours this year.

The club would like to thank everyone involved behind the scenes from parents to farm staff, to chairman Euan Lawrie for stewarding the show ring, to vice-chairman Gavin Redpath for stewarding between the classes and keeping things moving, our judge, Katie Davidson for travelling up to Lanark and judging the competition, especially the encouraging feedback/reason giving to everyone involved, to our sponsors – Lawrie & Symington Limited for the use of the venue and to McCaskie Farm Supplies for the leather halters, to Country Refreshment (Susan Paterson and Gaynor Thompson) for assisting with the catering, and most of all to the kids who took part – it was great to see so many enthusiastic faces out in the show ring once again, especially the first timer competitors.
