Passing of Gordon Bennett Smale

We are deeply saddened to hear that past Society President Gordon Bennett Smale of the Glebewin prefix has passed away.

Gordon Bennett Smale died peacefully at home, Hellescott, North Petherwin, on 26th January, aged 92 years. Dearly loved husband of Rene, loving father of Graham and Sandra, Michael and Caroline, and proud grandfather of Chris, Martin, Gemma and Lynette, great-grandad of seven. Gordon's private funeral service will take place at North Petherwin Parish Church, Thursday 4th February at 2 pm. Due to strict Covid restrictions this will be by invitation only. If you wish to pay your respects the cortege will leave from Hellescott at 1.45 pm and travel to the Church. Please follow social distancing guidelines.
