Norfolk Club News February 2019

Norfolk All Breeds Calf Show was held at the Norfolk Showground in September with Blaise Tomlinson as Judge.

A successful trip by our friends and supporters from Essex, Designer Holsteins, meant Holstein Champion Handler was George Moody, Reserve Charlie Moody and Honourable Mention Robyn Moody. They also took the Inter-Breed and Champion Calf award with Ve-Tech Attwood Elegance 2.

Any Other Dairy Breed Champion was Joshua Etteridge, with Claire Cletheroe Reserve Champion. Any Other Dairy Breed Calf Champion was Ava and Tim’s Gemini Quaich Sky Pauline 2, with Gemini Solo Cher Reserve.

The Herd Competition was judged by Sam Wake. The Easthaughherd of L G Brigham & Sons was again Champion Herd, whilst the Junior Herd winners were the ForncettHerd of K L Humphreys & Son.

The Annual General Meeting saw Andy Marsh elected Club Chairman. Sue Cope gave an interesting talk on “Why Pedigree” and prizes were presented. The Stock Judging Cup was won by Alistair Nottage and the Juniors was won byLiam Banns.

The Dinner Dance is on 22nd February and the Family Day in the Easter Holidays.
