Passing of Francis Albert (Abbie) Cotton

We are deeply saddened to hear that former Field Development Officer Francis (Abbie) Cotton has passed away.

Abbie passed away peacefully on February 24th 2021 at his home in Winkhill surrounded by his loving family, aged 83 years. The dearly loved and devoted husband of Doris, loving dad of Alison, Carol and Anne, dear father-in-law of Peter and Ian, fondly remembered by Dave, a treasured grandad and a very dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle.

A private funeral service will be held later this month. Due to current restrictions, it would not be fitting for Abbie's funeral to take place without his great love of singing, so a celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
