Bull from the land down under climbs atop young genomic type rankings

Young genomic bulls

Eclipse Milio is the new Type Merit leader among young genomic bulls with +4.50 at 54% reliability. This Emilio son out of a High Octane daughter, hails from Australia and combines smoking udders (+3.31) with great size.

OH-River-SYC Crushable is now second with +4.24 Type Merit at 56% reliability. He is a son of Marverick Crush out of the Mogul daughter, OH-River-SYC-Mogal Brylan. 

Next is Siemers Lambda Haniko (Lambda x Monterey) at +4.11 TM (54% Rlb). Then in fourth place is Peak Tropic at +4.01 (55% Rlb), a bull that also sports a nice £689 PLI.

Rounding off the top five is the full brother to CrushableCOL DG Crushtime at +3.99 TM (56% reliability).

Daughter proven sires

Bova Bomba (Doorman x Superstition) explodes on to the scene at the top of the UK daughter proven sire list, with +3.84 TM at 82% reliability. He edges out the long-term leader in this category, Delaberge Pepper (Mogul x Planet) now at +3.83 Type Merit with 92% reliability and a creditable £594 PLI. Pen-Col Merrick, an A2A2 sire is third at 3.50 TM and 93% Rlb.

Willsbro Abbott, now with 120 UK classified daughters in his proof, is still the best UK bred proven bull with +2.95 TM at 90% Rlb.

Finally, the top type score among available AI sires in the UK now belongs to Peak Hotline (Altahotrod x Mogul). His +4.70 TM is based largely on information from daughters classified in the USA and Canada and therefore comes with a lower reliability for a daughter proven bull of 71%.
