The All Time People's Choice Competition

As part of our online series of competitions, Holstein UK are pleased to announce the launch of our “All Time People’s Choice” competition. Holstein UK invites owners and breeders to nominate any animal(s) that they have either bred or owned over the years that have been successful within any of the following categories; Calf, Heifer in Milk or Cow in Milk.

The applicants will be reviewed by a panel of judges chosen by the Show & Sale Committee from which the top 10 entrants from each class will be put forward to the public vote. All nominations must be supported by a fully completed application form and a photograph. The shortlisted animals will be featured in the February 2021 Journal. The top three winning animals from each class will be announced on social media and the Holstein UK website and showcased in the April 2021 journal.

Conditions of Entry

• Please use a separate form for each individual nomination
• Nominations may only be put forward by either the breeder or past/present owner of the animal
• Nominations must be supported with a relevant photograph. Photographs may be either black & white or colour and can be sent either through the post or digitally.
• Only one class may be selected and the photograph supplied must be of the animal in the relevant age to the class entered.
• A CV for the nominated animal, of no more than 100 words, must be completed summarising the animals achievements, this may include Show results, All Britain Nominations or any other relevant information.
• Please note it is wholly the responsibility of the nominator to fill the application form out correctly and in full.
• All nomination forms and supporting photographs must be sent to Holstein UK by the closing date of Wednesday 6th January. Please note applications received after this date will not be submitted for judging.
