Derbyshire Holstein Club October News

Due to the current situation we have not held our summer herd competition or our trips out this year but in the background our members are continuing to keep safe and move forward with their businesses with the Easom Family signing up an Elite herd partnership agreement between the Broomhouse herd and Genus ABS, the world’s largest bovine genetics company.

Although the HYB members were unable to go to the ABAB calf show this year, we send our congratulations to our entries for this year’s competitions being Millie Wardle for the Littlestar Award, Emily Topham for the Louise Hartley Award and Kimberley Trickett for the President's Medal.

Other Members doing well this year are Chloe Shepherd winning the Mastergen  Spring Photo Comp winning £100 semen voucher and goody bag, also Jessica Langton who is a finalist in the Farmers Weekley Farmers Apprentice 2020.

We also send our Congratulations to Harrison Mellor and Fran Griffiths on their recent engagement.
