Cornwall Club Winter Newsletter

Due to the Cornwall Holstein Club Dinner and Prize Giving not being able to take place this year, Cornwall finished off the year by announcing the annual herds competition results online.

Cornwall Dinner and Dance

On the 30th of January we held our annual club dinner and dance at The Hotel Bristol, Newquay. It was a great event for Dawn Coryn's final function as madam chair, and it was fantastic to be joined by Holstein UK president Bryan Thomas for the evening.

The last few months of 2019 were busy for the Cornwall Club – and we’re looking forward to the New Year with plans for a variety of exciting events over the next 12 months.

Our Calf Show Qualifier was held at the Royal Cornwall Showground, where we were lucky enough to have Matt House (Calf Judge) and Laura Sales (Handling) in the middle of the ring.

Cornwall Update

It’s been a busy time of year for the club. In April 4 HYB members (Steven Harris, Rachel Abrahall, Ryan Renfree and Cari Thomas) attended the 2019 AB Lucas trip to the European Holstein Show in Libramont. We would like to thank the Trustees of this charity for allowing this to happen.
